A Day of Good News!

Psalm 85:6–7

“Will you not revive us again,

that your people may rejoice in you?”

(Psalm 85:6 ESV)

Revival is a sovereign act of our God, flowing from his

heart for us, marked by repentance, humility, prayer, and

transformation, highlighting God’s word and his presence

for the glory and majesty of God.

Biblical examples of revival:

• Under the leadership of King Josiah

                o 2 Kings 22–23

• Under the leadership of Nehemiah and Ezra

                 o Nehemiah 8:1–8

• At the outpouring of the Holy Spirit

                 o Acts 2:1–41

“Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be

blotted out, that times of refreshing may come from the

presence of the Lord…” (Acts 3:19–20 ESV).
