We Advance the Kingdom

Acts 13:1–3; Matthew 11:2–12; Matthew 16:13–18

The message of Jesus was, and is, the message of the kingdom (Matthew 4:17; Mark 1:14–15; Luke 4:43).

The message of salvation is just the beginning of all God desires to do (John 3:3).

What is the kingdom? It is the rule and reign of the King of Kings, Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:18; Ephesians 1:19–23; Matthew 6:10; Luke 11:2).

We advance the kingdom (Acts 13:1–3)

Jesus is the name above all names (Matthew 16:13–18).

The advancement of the kingdom will experience resistance (Matthew 11:12).

It will be our natural tendency to withdraw from the advancement of the kingdom (John 17:15).

We/you advance the kingdom!
