• Leviticus emphasizes God's essential nature and holiness as a reason for right action.

• “Be ye holy, for I am Holy.”

Psalm 77:13

• The Psalms say “holy” to celebrate the beauty and consistency of God’s actions.

• “Your way, O God, is holy.”

The Psalms most often describe holiness as experienced and encountered.
