Genesis 15:1–21; Psalm 81:1–10

Scripture reading: Luke 19:45–48; John 12:20–36

Scripture uses the word covenant more than 300 times.

A covenant was an arrangement that required two parties to show lovingkindness to one another.

A covenant was a bond in blood establishing a

legal relationship with no exit clause.

Covenant partners die to their rights to independent living.

An example of covenant living.
